〜イギリス赴任日記〜

やはり、一時帰国しており、湯布院で休暇を過ごしているときに書いた日記。ヘッドハンターに会う日を翌日に控え、改めてどう答えるか考えている。

2000/09/26　「ヘッドハンターと会う準備」

Today I am at Yufuin of Oita region and spending relax time with hot spring.

Our staying Ryokan is quite rich and expensive but therefore everything is luxury. The street of Yufuin is also very nice and there is good old Japanese at here. I really want to come back here if I have a chance again in the future.

By the way I will see Mr Marshall tomorrow and I need to set up myself for the interview with him.
I assume I will be asked about some points.
1. My strength
Strong leadership and good sense of responsibility
(Energetic & good sense of coaching)

2. My weak point
Too strong leadership sometime

3. My experience
Software development (Mainly outsourcing to software house)
Deployment of Arcstar network(PDH Network and customer network implementation)

4. My accomplishment
Expanding Arcstar European Network from 2 POP 2 countries to 9POP 6 countries.
Introduction of SDH network

5. Required job & position
Manager of Network Department (Planning or Deployment team)
Responsible position for Network Planning, Deployment, Management, Maintenance, and Implementation.
(These all job are like a series)

『その当時を振り返り』

仕事関係で自分の自己紹介をするときには、「自分の強み・弱み」、「経験」、「達成事項」、「やりたいこと」は必須事項だろう。

強み・弱みについては今の自分とあまり変わっておらず、人間本質はそうは変わらないものだと改めて感じる。

あれだけ組織開発や会社運営に興味があると書いていながら、実際にやりたい仕事はできることであるネットワーク関連の仕事になっているところがその当時の視野の狭さの表れか。

その当時の自分の状況を思い出すに、やりたいことのイメージはあるが、それを正しく言葉にできているか自信がなく、さらに正しく言葉にできていたとしても、その経験がないから声に出す自信がない、という感じだろう。おそらく、結論は自分の心の声に従って行動ができていないことからくる堂々巡りだろうが。
